The MH, YA, and Rocket all being basically right there makes this map pretty un-fun for 1v1. Camp with near impunity. Otherwise it's quite a fantastic looking map with an interesting layout.

Usually when I am browsing and I see a level with what looks to be more than less the stock id texture set I tend to keep moving. I have this mentality where I want whatever I'm grabbing to look different than what the vanilla game offers... but this level just completely changed all of that. I have never seen these textures look so good. This level wears them very well and the lighting is done so perfectly. The gameplay on offer here is great as well. I'm totally keeping this and now I'm wondering what else I've been missing out on.

Blood Run is a great map, but I would not make a fetish out of it. And this map is something else and stands on its own. Personally I never get tired from good gothic maps. This is one. Gameplay is fast like hell. The maps name fits nicely.
The lightning is good and with my personal settings bright enough. But with standard display settings a little bit to dark.

Your other map is way better than this to be honest.

Be sure not to confuse this map with another that nearly has the same name.

Significally better than Blood Run? No.
Exactly matches this at level quality and gameplay? Hell YES.
10/10, as for the original ztn cool map. I could wish more people play this.

Thank you for all the kind words, much appreciated. I did not set out to redo ztn in any way, just wanted to make a map and the textures stuck with me. It is all from scratch, no cutting up another map to make this one but I suppose every1 has their opinion. If it does remind you of Blood Run, then great cuz that is one hell of a map.

So author take blood run cut into pices and create a new map witch still have amazing gameplay and looks. GJ Jester

It's like a new Bloodrun! Very well done, and it's about time you switched to Q3 mapping! :)

I also forgot to mention that this map would be great for Quake Live. :) The construction is good enough to warrant a position. Although it was made for Duel I think this could make an excellent 2v2 TDM map as well.
