What an interesting map pack! Unfortunately, the only issue is that after loading it, the mirrors located in the maps like Q3DM0 and Q3DM7 turn pure black instead of being transparent. I noticed this bug with two different engines (ioquake3 and Quake3e) on Linux. My personal guess may be that something in this pack hijacks the original texture/shader.

Great idea, played in OpenArena, but also tested in Q3. For each map, the supported gametype includes team deathmatch, however, in my testing, it seems in team deathmatch, both Q3A and OpenArena allow you to use the gauntlet and machine gun, as well as the specified weapon. I wonder if anyone knows specifically how to restrict that, either via entities-only editing, or if it is a built-in bug or something in Q3? Anyone know? For now, I just modified all the .arena files to remove team deathmatch.

Absolute classic.
I loved the first pack and it is great it turned out to this huge pack.
Knocked me of my feet in 2005 and it still does.
Gameplay is just how i like it.
And it these maps are also great with a InstaGib or Rcoket only mod...

@Blood: Yeah, but I've been downloading maps from the alternate link when I think about the fact that Tig and Mand0g pay out of pocket for maintaining this site. I kind of feel bad so I use the other link anyway, even though its slower.

This is an awesome, massive map pack! I've played every level on this map pack, and they are all so fun. Such a wide a variety of maps and ideas. At first, I skipped clicking the download link, because of the massive size, but in the end I downloaded it. A lot of these maps I have played with 12 human players, and it is a lot of fun. Thanks to everyone who helped compile this map pack, it is the best! 10/10.

@SW12: No problem at all, in fact I've removed that note as it is not needed now.

Oh, sorry Tig for downloading it here. I just read Tig's notes just after I hit the "..::LvL" button.

nice, 48 plus levels, some are just small varients, but mostly fun stuff here. the 4 flag game is very fast . i like the single weapon modes (rail gun or rocket), but the melee ones are frustrating. have to figure out how to change the weapon choices

My favorite was the 4 way, cell shaded rail map in primary colors (I believe it's wtf-25). I didn't play it with the mod, but most of the maps were small and simplistic (although well done). The mod must add something I'm not seeing.
