I agree with Alice. While it's nice and all to have a graphically advanced map, one that works for anyone's computer is more important. It's okay for a map to use an idea and layout like this map, and use mediocre graphics. Water Giant is a good example.

I think this map is a wake up call. if we want our game to continue, i think we as a community should come together and make open arena the new standard. It wont happen unless all of us pour our q3/ID3 knowledge into this. open arena could be, but we have to make it so.please dont let our favorite game die.

Map size and engine limits can be problem. You can play fast rounds with low score goal 3v3 or 4v4 in OpenArena without any problem I think.
I really really really hope the upcoming OpenArena will bring better engine limits.

Set my hunkmegs to 1024 and it still doesn't work. Is it the size of the map that's the problem, or the graphics and textures used?

Yes (as high as possible). This map is really at the edge of the game engine limits.

For me it crashes on start. Do I need to set my hunkmegs to something?

@Martinus: I left the Arathi Basin details out, but I think you are right - it should have been included. The review has been updated.

Thank you for the review. I honestly not expected that. I'm really appreciate for that.
Who made the review forgot to tell an important thing. This map is a very basic "replica" of Arathi Basin from World of Warcraft.
