A first map by Gooball presents us with a small map for deathmatches and CTF in a base-meets-space-map type of theme.
The construction is very plain and simple. The texture choices are questionable and there is a missing texture from developers mapmedia pack. The levelshot is also an issue, being in png format and therefore only being compatible with engine mods such as ioquake3. All these are minor issues and can be expected from a newcomer. That aside, there are more pressing issues to point out.
The gameplay is, well, almost non-existent. There are hardly any spawn points, there is an area with a zillion BFG ammo's and the flag run can be done in 2 or 3 seconds as there is a teleporter connecting the flag rooms (LOL?). That is just the tip of the iceberg, there are many more issues than that.
The map is practically unplayable and depicts nothing more than a test map by someone who is clearly far from ready to release a map. While I do admire the creativity many newcomers display (i.e: the many shooter_rockets pointing to the BFG and activated by a button), this map is nothing more than raw ideas and lack of map making knowledge that needs a lot of developing.
I am afraid it is not worth the download.

Tigs notes: It is always a good idea to get someone else to check out your map before releasing it. The Quake3World Forums are a good place to start. Downloading mapmedia.pk3 and placing it in your baseq3 folder will fix the texture issue.
