Barren, large and very open. Only a few textures are used throughout the entire level. On top of that, the map is very open with simple architecture. Long rail and rocket shots followed by machine gun firing is what most of the gameplay is. The map really feels like it wants to be a huge space level, but is somehow trapped.
The biggest failing of the level are the hidden death pits. The pits are not really hidden, but because of the dark wall textures, you do not notice a few of the pits and can end up falling in. The BFG is included, in a very open and isolated location. Bots have trouble with this and you can find them standing at BFG waiting to die. Besides that, the bots play a little easy and can be picked off with a rail or rocket as they move between the items.
Space map fans may enjoy the change, others will delete it after a round or two.
