I played when it started public but never really like it....nothing new for me apart from bringing in some new people.
Still prefer original quake 3 , i still play ctf on the crom servers.

Yes, and I even have a Pro subscription. I like how id decided to give us a "free" version of Quake III through the browser after 10 years, to continue a legacy whilst bringing in new people. Their brand-new arenas, such as phantazm11s "Black Cathedral", or Swelts "Tornado" could be considered classics several years from now, all very high quality indeed. There are still a few things that are missing that could be added, but overall it`s excellent and I highly recommend it.

Yeah, I play it and I like it a lot actually although I do not have a premium/pro subscription - maybe it is because I never really played quake3.

I've also got a pro subscription, I have been playing since the beta. I love the community around it, I am sad over the lack options of configuring our own server, I mostly played Threewave CTF Capturestrike a lot a couple years ago with Q3A and this is missing for me in QL. I did play the beta, wich i enjoyed (especially instagib (ctf)).
When it went live i stopped.
Nowadays I only map and play q3 against bots...
QL deleted/removed my account last month iirc.
