Just like any urban or city construction, Map-Center's Urban Jam had a deadline that came and went. So did the extension.

Originally, hundreds of Mappers signed up. The promise of a billion city and urban themed maps to keep the level starved Q3A Players satisfied all looked amazing on paper. Then the work started. The reality of unforeseen events kicked in and plans had to be changed.

In the end we had to settle for four strong releases. Themes covering critical concepts such as Urban Anonymity and Isolation (Stacked by Mr.Yeah!) to Accelerationism (Icarus by ish) and Urban Decay and De-industrialisation (DmOutrage by DetroHogga and that other map in the release). Very thought provoking stuff to discuss at a Family dinner, an office gathering or in the comments.

Keeping everything contemporary, a few of the releases are minimum viable products and have been released intentionally incomplete.
