Sergej Arena VI is a classically styled Q3A release that could have sat perfectly as one of the original maps. Released almost 24 years ago, this review and listing is well overdue for such a great DeathMatch level.
Large open spaces link and flow into each other through a series of doors and corridors. Water has been used to help you identify activity. Some items are placed in the open enough to make you a little hesitant before picking them up.
There are a few odd architectural features, some working a lot more successfully than others. Everything tested has been clipped perfectly. You never end up snagged.
Nice use of lights. There is a full range from bright outdoor spaces and dark shadows inside.
Bots are a little too drawn to the Plasma and Combat Armour space but otherwise seem to enjoy the map as well.
Yes, the map is a little rough here and there, but this one has stood the test of time and can hold its head high. A very nice old map.
