This map pack was put together from the entrants to the 1024 unit map competition thought up by the band at cha0s. One map in the pack by cavefish, you can find reviewed here. The quality of the maps is probably around this level too. The competition was based around the premise that all maps had to be within 1024 units cubed. A neat idea.

Since each map is different it is hard to give a definitive review as to whether this pack is worth the download. It might be if you are looking to see what the competition was about and the kinds of ideas that people came up with for the comp. As you can imagine the maps are all very small and use different mechanisms to help keep the game play as even as possible. Some maps have utilised the small size well, others have not. Nothing was particularly awe-inspiring.

Have a look if you are interested. Most won't keep.
