This is one of the torches that I created for my Blood Fountain Map Model for the QuakeCon2k1 Map Model Contest. I redid the fire animation and scaled it down.

Instalation
-----------
Insert this mapmodel extracted from the pk3 "models/mapobjects/ts-torch01/ts-torch01.md3". You can also place a orange light over the torch to make the fire glow. Insert my name in your credits ;)

unzip into the baseq3 directory.
this is the missing model files "only!",
and makes use of the original "Id" textures

This model is a Skeleton in a cage. It has, by far, the best skin i've made by now. The skeleton inside the cage is a modified version of the original one, made by Kenneth Scott, from Id Software.

Simply unzip the .pk3 file into your baseq3 directory.

Start Q3radiant and open/create the destination map for the model.
Right click wherever you want and select the "misc-model" option.
Close the browser and type this in the "key" and "value" boxes from the
newborn floating window:

My third Quake3 map object model, it's a wall portal for
level designers to use in Quake3:Arena maps.

* Notes *

I made the the model in Mac Lightwave6.
EarthQuake (**invalid URL**) made the skinmap.
Hoplit (**email removed**) converted it to .md3 and
fixed some bugs.

* How to use this map object/add to your maps *

Place the "scripts" and "models" folders into your
"baseq3" folder but make sure NOT to overwrite any other
files, if you have those folders already place the
"wallportal.shader" file into your "scripts" folder and the
"wallportal" folder inside your "/models/mapobjects/"
folder.

This should be how your Quake3 folder directory should look
like using this mapobject:
Quake3/baseq3/scripts/wallportal.shader
Quake3/baseq3/models/mapobjects/wallportal/wallportal.md3
Quake3/baseq3/models/mapobjects/wallportal/<all other image
(.tga) files>

In Q3radiant right click wherever you want and select the
