@Eraser: Are you going to make any more Entity Plus maps? I think someone should.

People who have problems with the "CVar_Update: Handle out of range" error can update to the latest version of EntityPlus (code.google.com/p/entityplus/). The 1.1.3 release has this issue fixed.

The g_synchronousClients can cause problem when playing cut scene. It will show an error: CVar_Update: Handle out of range. The solution is turn off g_synchronousClients.

@CZGhost, GuitarMan: There is no need to argue over this guys. GuitarMan, CZGhost wasn't being aggressive he was correcting you and there is no need to get angry of him correcting you. People make spelling mistakes. We all are not perfect we make mistakes.

@GuitarMan: I didn't spin you head away, Sorlarg is a bit similar to Klesk, but only visually (sounds are also very similar)

@ymx: no, the lasers only activates alarm (if you want to find secret near the room, try to not avoid the lasers - avoiding them will lock the doors permanently)...

These are Sorlargs, no Klesks... It's a bit different...

Yes, I know those are Sorlags, sorry, I kind of confused the names. Why are you being so aggressive on this topic? BTW, if you're going to correct me, at least spell it right.

This is strange. First time I played this map, a few weeks ago, it worked fine; now I'm getting kicked to the main menu too at that very same point (when fighting all those Klesks).

Heh, played this map a few weeks ago and laughed my ass off while playing. Hilarious storyline, and impressive on the technical side.

I've laughed a lot, when first played the map... There are lots of humouristic scenes, which already adds to environment...

If you have problems with finishing map, launch it with cheats (it won't add the highscore, but it's notz required, there's important the fun...)

Thanks for the kind review and comments everyone!
I realize the map doesn't exactly break any records by the way it looks visually. The truth is that it is such an enormous amount of work to get all the entities and logic set up properly in there (and I even had to code some new features into the mod to be able to do what I wanted to) that if I had spent the time to give it a visual makeover, it would never get done. Because of this, I'm hyper excited to see how fKd's map (www.quake3world.co...m/viewtopic.php) will turn out because that looks absolutely amazing.

Pretty epic! That automated voice had me in stitches, it just needed to be topped off with some :olo: smileys from Q3W slapped on the screen at the appropriate times.

One problem I ran into was the game crashing like a mofo at the part where a million sorlags are let loose. Sadly I had to skip that, go to the 3rd map and continue from there.

This campaign really proves how the game experience itself is so much more important than visuals. I couldn't care much for the stock (and sometimes misaligned) textures and the lack of detailing when the gameplay is so goddamn good... damn it's good! I was left wanting more after I finished it. I only found 2 secrets. Maybe it's time to find the rest!

8.5/10, with that crashing issue resolved it would be a 9.5.

There's really no reason to not download this map. 10/10, without any doubt. Eraser, what you've done there is just amazing. The visuals could be better and many areas look rather bland, but the overall experience (and that's what's important) is more than satisfying. Playing through this short campaign was exciting, funny and technically ingenious. The last big fight and the cinematics you used there looked quite next-gen for such an old game. Unfortunately I didn't even find a single secret... maybe on a second run :)
