@EmeraldTiger. it's a cpma thing. like not worrying about textures or architectural detail. there are so many custom promode maps out there with no bot or arena files simply because people would be loading maps straight from the console and competing against other players, a lot of mappers just never bothered with these things. Many were made for private servers and released posthumously through the map archive for the wider community. i like loading from the menu, even when running a server, because it's easier than remembering the names of all the maps. But for anything with a player load larger than 4 a bot file never goes astray. I've never played this map as a 4 x 4, which i think is how it should be played so it will be great to try it out with the bot file. Thanks.

Here's a patch .pk3 that includes an .aas file so the map can be played with bots (just place this .pk3 in the same folder as tfa3dm1.pk3):

Was quite easy to produce, so I don't know why the author decided to not include one (they acknowledge the lack of a bot file in the readme), especially given the high amount of effort the author clearly put in everywhere else. Nevertheless, I'm happy it was able to work.
