@EmeraldTiger
Very late reply, I confirmed that yes, this is authored by the same Richard "noctis" Gansterer. Also @Tig the sil3tourney3 map by Silenoz is actually also by noctis, just before he changed to a new name. These are his only two releases for Q3 (@cityy pointed out he also released the Quake Live map 'Arkinholm', as a collaboration with Chad "Despair" Younger)

Graphics are great. Item placement is good but I miss gl. I like the maps distinct areas and interconnectivity with catacombs. My nitpicks would be that in the 2v2 version the extra connector with YA feels a bit tacked on. There already is a path from RA to quad that runs parallel. Also the path from MH to RA sticks out to me as boring looking compared to the rest of the map. The 1v1 version feels a bit bigger than it really is at first. Still the respective versions play great in 1v1 and 2v2. Super solid and definitely unique!

@Tig this was the map I mentioned to you that might be worthy as a featured release.

great as a 2v2. i still would've liked to have had a gl in it though.

I wonder if this is the same "noctis" that`s a well-known professional Q3 and QL player.

A solid release, good texturing and lighting. I prefer the FFA version though, the tourney edition feels too huge and thus a bit boring.
Give it a try!
