Steveo has picked up the Q3A editing tools once again, marking his return by rebuilding a 2005 CTF release for the modern era. The upgrades introduce a crisp, sharp aesthetic to the visuals while retaining the simplicity of the classic layout. Subtle structural changes have significantly improved the gameflow, ironing out several issues that plagued the original release.

The arena features a stark, open-space layout with minimal cover and immediate, long-range sightlines. It is an environment highly suited for bot matches, ensuring the arcade-style fun at the heart of the map still shines through in single-player. Furthermore, the revised item placement brings a welcome sense of balance and stability to the match dynamics.

Stepping off the ledge directly behind either flag drops you into a teleporter pit. This instantly spits you out into the dead centre of the map, where a secondary teleporter can launch you straight toward the opposing base. While this route allows for incredibly rapid captures, it is highly exploitable—especially when facing bots. Choosing to ignore this teleporter loop entirely preserves the map's overall enjoyment.

Ultimately, matches offer a fantastic, fast-paced distraction for a few quick rounds against bots. The expansive layout is excellent for dialling in your long-range weapon accuracy, giving the entire experience a distinct, satisfyingly raw retro feel.
