If there were ever a time in which a cool technique was used with a bad idea, that time would be now. I liked the author's use of textures and craftsmanship throughout this level, however, the fundamental idea of this level really bugged me. The whole level is on a set of platforms that are above a huge pool of water in which there's only one way out - two if you include respawning. The whole level seemed to be lit by the sky which really showed as the other half of the level that isn't lit is really washed out.
I wouldn't keep it very long. 6/10.
