First of all, I'd like to say I really love the design of this map. The layout and textures really support the theme of a damaged base. There are lots of nooks and crannies that keep you guessing where other players will come out. Item placement is pretty good. Bots navigate the whole map pretty well, but tend to stay by the RL and SG area. The RL area tends to see most of the action, but the other area are not forgotten.
I really enjoyed playing this map as a FFA and CPM. The underground rocky areas are a little tricky to navigate at first, but once you've played for a while there no problem. The placement of the Quad is really good. It prevents people from controlling the map. There is a little camper spot where you exit after picking up the Quad, but it is positioned in a spot where you can't see the teleport spot where others will appear. So basically it's not really a safe spot to camp. Which I feel is a definite plus.
I think the perfect player count is around 4-6. This provides for some intense action. As the author says in the readme, 8 is kind of crowded. Overall this is a really great first map.
I say start your downloads. I see this map staying on my hard-drive for a LONG time.
