A stylised remix of Anwulf's own 'Subtilis Et Simplex'. The immediate difference is the texturing. The textures are the same, but the colour scheme is a grey monochrome. It's a subtle and unusual idea that I've been hoping to see in a map for a while and here it adds a touch of class to an already elegant design. Of course, the only difference this makes to game play is that your opponent is very easy to see, especially if they're cloaked in the coruscation effect of a powerup. As before, players spawn with a Railgun, the only weapon above the defaults. One minor difference between the two versions is a teleport destination located in the powerup basement, for bots that have difficulty understanding the lateral entrances. Otherwise the game play is essentially the same as the original, so you may want to read the earlier review as well. Bots are obviously more challenging if they are skilled with the RG.
If you enjoyed 'Subtilis Et Simplex', or if you have an interest in the style aspect of mapping, it's worth taking a closer look at this one.
