At ..::LvL, we believe the best way to protect user privacy is simply not to collect your personal data in the first place. We don't track you, we don't build profiles on you, and we give you total control over what little information touches our servers.
What Little We Collect (And Why)
To run a community site and Quake 3 Arena archive, we need basic technical interaction:
- Account Credentials: We encourage you to use a gamer tag or pseudonym rather than your real name.
- Email Address: Required solely during registration for account verification. Once your account is verified, you can delete your email address from your profile entirely.
- User Content: Comments, or activity is associated strictly with your pseudonymous gamer tag, and only if registered or Signed In.
No Tracking, No Analytics, No Third-Party Spying
- Zero Tracking: We do not use third-party tracking cookies, behavioral analytics, or ad-network pixels.
- No Cross-Site Profiling: We don't monitor what other sites you visit, and we don't sell, rent, or monetize your data.
Your Data, Your Control (Right to Erase)
You shouldn't have to jump through hoops or file support tickets to clean up after yourself. We provide built-in tools so you can wipe your digital footprint:
- Comment & Download History: Every comment you post and every download action you take while logged in can be individually removed or globally cleared by you at any time.
- Account Purging: If you choose to delete your account, all associated records, preferences, and identifiers are purged from our live database.
