The center area reminds me of an Unreal Tournament CTF map.

(PS - I forgot which Unreal Tournament game, example Unreal Tournament, Unreal Tournament 2003, etc, reminded me of the center area of this CTF map).

a very stimulating asymetrical layout with a nice common ground. due to item placement and base layout the blue team carries a distinct advantage. I guess it goes without saying now that this is part of the official threewave map pack but still worth pointing out for those who haven't already checked it out. My biggest complaint would be the lack of bumpers and how far back the flags are on their platforms.

I just forgot - there is also a spawn where if you move much you fall into the void. Only a minor problem though.

This map could be a classic. As good as any ctf map I've ever played for any game ever. So many areas of the map stand out to be mentioned here that I'm way to lazy to do it heh.

An easy decision to give it a 10! :)

Thanks for the comments guys.

Prophet, I did a lot of play-testing of this map and found it very easy to enter the red base flag room as opposed to the blue one. The team specific door was added to prevent easier access from the blue side.

Very cool design, and interesting gameplay, BUT:

The potcullis is only accesible from inside, because the shootme trigger won't work. I'd remove the damned thing anyway, because it tips the scale in the direction of red anyway. 8 for me.

I really wouldn't call this "largish"... mid-sized at most. I think this is the first asymmetrical Q3CTF map that I've seen executed with any competence (sorry if I've overlooked someone). Would be interesting to try this one out.
