ok sorry but i got say this . being a unreal mapper for maney yr i have to say i would not want some these map on my computer what crap map are these ? 2: half the people here don't know what good map is like i said shit q2 map 's gone to guy head ? out 25 map here only 3 is worth a damn damn guy ill been playing to much of shit maps

To give you an idea of why this one has the gameplay that it does - this was my first map ever, for any game. I learned Radiant doing this one, and the following four. I wasn't sure I had anything that anyone would be interested in, but I felt comfortable releasing them. I'm glad to see folks have taken the time to download them and see what they look like, and I'm planning on working on a new series of maps sometime later this summer. All comments on ways to improve my maps are always welcome - positive and negative ;). Thanks again ..

Steinecke:The Meat pack had good eyecandy as well as layout with great atmosphere...but bad bot play.

The Arrakeen maps have good atmophere ..ok layout and ok botplay ...not much eyecandy. There average maps with a few cool things but still average.

Thats why I gave the maps an average score.

Hey I haven't downloaded these things yet but to me it sounds like a very kool idea. If these maps are any good expect some more average-raising votes a little l8r today! (And comments for that matter) =)

I don't understand, why those guys are giving such bad ratings for your beautiful Arrakeen-maps. But by looking on the ratings for 'Meatpack2' I understand: they are like children; things to them have to be pearls of glas -cheap but colorful.

I like this map. And 'cause bots do well: 9.

OH so choppy or frammy. It took me a while to find the connectivity of the map. Finnaly when i saw the portals i understood. Not to fun but the bots did play very nicely. I would not recommend for online. 7/10 OK map with a frame rate problem.

Hehe .. thanks. If you have tried out Arrakeen Gamma and thought it worth a second look, I've posted a revision on my site (see the readme file) - called ... Arrakeen Gamma 2. :) Fixed some botplay issues, fixed some r_speed issues, and revamped the architecture to remove that annoying massive staircase ;) ..
