Very important. Looks nice, liked the skulls behind the fence. Kind of makes you think...once those were gladiators who were trapped behind the fence, and noone wanted to get them out! So they died a lonely dead.

Good flow. So it's not big. Doesn't matter. The gameplay is there.

I've played just about every map Renegade's released (and that's a lot of maps), and this one was no disappointment. Yep: it belongs in the canon. ;) The mood's cool, and the layout is interesting -- and the guy's intelligent style is instantly recognizable. With so many people aping id gothic, here is someone whose work looks like nobody else's.

BTW, Renegade, your Gothic Revenge for Q2 would look good updated for Q3...

Yup Crewel Lye is a book by Piers Anthony possibly one of the greatest authors out there.

Crewel Lye was the name to a book in the Xanth series by Piers Anthony.

Looks like Renegade is going to have work a bit harder to win over the Q3 crowd.

The map's not bad or anything, but it's just a bit ordinary as far as Gothic goes. Goth is cool but when you've seen tons of it you really need a slap-in-the-face map that stands out with weird fog and lighting effects. It's a 7 in my book.

There is nothing wrong with ths map -but everything is alright. Bots do fine. Looks grown up. Nothing childish or sick on it. This is rar. For me is it a case of 8 Points.
