I've corrected some details on In The Well of Time so that both maps are linked to the same author.

Great atmosphere makes this one of my favorites. Unfortunately Larry (the authors real name) died a few years ago of complications resulting from a brain tumor. It's really too bad, as Larry was as nice a person as you would ever meet. He also made the level called In The Well of Time. Larry was an artist who, among other things, worked on the Attack of the Killer Tomatoes cartoon series. We'll miss him.

This map reminds me of a Halo CE map (Death Island) and looks VERY Enticing. I want to LVL IT!! :]

I've started to playing that map with my clan, it's very nice done. There are some missing textures on lamps and on body laying next to the house with trap.

Blurr, are you there to help? Maybe you can release source of that map, so we can fix it...

Sure would be cool if the Skipper would have left a Ginger in a bikini bot...

Oh, I forgot to mention that I think this map rates a 9.5 because it is so original and the realistic ambience is so inspiring. Also, its fun in the sun and cool in the pool. Er, uh, I mean sea.

I've downloaded the map and when i play it there is no textures, everything is white squares with gray spaces.

A really fun map with lots of interesting touches. I had a lot of fun playing on this map with my kids. Very artistic. You do not feel boxed in like like in so many Quake maps.

After playing this map, I liked it so much that I just wanted more! Here's what I mean:

Suggestions:

1. Apply bob to the water, just a little to make it feel like a surge.
2. Bigger! A lot bigger. More caves, and places to discover.
3. Make sharks move in circles like the boat.
4. Large wooden ship floating around. That would be cool.

I would strongly reccomend this level, especially if you are looking for something unique and are tierd of the same old same old run of the mill levels. Author should be encouraged to make more like this.

Nah, not a corrupted download. Tried again but same failure, same message. Forget about it...probably someone else has used the name island.bsp or something....

I'm not sure what you are trying to tell me, except you're the only one who has reported this startup problem. That being the case, if you don't have problems with other levels, then the first thing to check for is a corrupted download. Problems like this are often caused by a single item and then the rest is due to the domino effect. The only custom texture or sound included in your list is beachsand_dk.TGA...

I downloaded this map a long time ago and I thuoght it was good. Bots may have serious problems with this map since they are usually killing themselves most of the time, but it is funny. The look of the map is good judging by the theme. Not really some place to fight bots in though.

Overall good visuals and sounds that really create an environment. Nice textures that go together well. Fun gameplay if your system is fast enough.
