To be honest, I don't think we're going to be losing anything if we do lose the CPMA community as a result of all this. Especially if it means saying goodbye to the elitist D-bags who believe that "CPMA is all that matters" (lvlworld.com/comments/id:1139), and that no other kind of map should exist.

I'm not saying CPMA is a bad gametype (never played it), its just the players it attracts seem to bring a toxic atmosphere with them. Next thing you know, they will want Quake III to become an MLG game, then endorse Mountain Dew and Doritos (knowyourmeme.com/m...nts/doritosgate). Sorry for the late reply to the situation here, but it needed to be said. (better late than never)

I can see how Tigger-oN would be furious after reading Ion's comment directly below.

Some people don't know and not even realize that Tigger-oN runs and maintains ..::LvL in his own time, with his own money. Even writing up reviews for maps that still don't have a review from the public. It just frustrates me that some people can't take this into consideration and think things through for a moment. I agree what Tigger-oN stated in his comment (#4).

Yes, he was upset. How will you feel if you submitted a review and someone comes along (Like Ion for this map) and starts (Excuse my language) bitching around saying it was a "piss poor review", "Have you even played the map" or "How does this qualify as a review" (Like Ion stated).

Some people should just step away, analyze what's going on, think thoroughly for a moment and take responsibility for your actions that will appear and show up in ..::LvL.

Tigger-oN is doing a fabulous job for us here at ..::LvL, let's keep it that way.

That was me at #4, before the site had registered user support.

I could imagine how much worse the review could have been had "BFG20k" reviewed it. But was that the real Tig? I thought as an unregistered user he used Tigger-on.

BTW, what exactly does CPM do to make it different from vanilla Quake 3?

Every time a CPM map gets a crap review this happens. AND every time this happens, I offer the same thing. The CPM community is MORE THAN WELCOME TO SUBMIT REVIEWS!

Come on guys, get off your apathetic ass start to review YOUR coumminty maps. I've made a CPM section for you, I've added the readme files to the map so you do not download non-CPM maps (this was a requested by the CPM community). I gave admin access to a CPM member so they could even update the CPM section (but they did it twice I think). I've asked if there is anything else you guys want and recieved no emails. But as soon as a review goes up, you lot jump around like someone jumped on your toes.

Its up to you guys, you could own ..::LvL. Here is the map queue - lvlworld.com/queue - start sending in reviews and stop crying.

It's an excellent cpma ctf map, I have no idea how it plays in baseq3, but it works very well for 5v5 cpma ctf and fairly decent for 4v4.
