Sent off a new botplay patch for this map to Tig which allows the bots to navigate literally all of the map. They even rocket jump to the grenade launcher.

Hmm very good map with excellent use of textures and brushwork. I like the ambience of the map and how it really goes well with everything. Layout is good and overally a very good map. 8.5/10

What i really like about this map is that there are as many reasons to go to the bottom of the map as there is to stay up top. Often maps are top heavy leaving several players scrabbling for less powerful items at the bottom while 1 or 2 players pick them off from up top. Here there is just as likely to be 3-4 evenly matched players (in terms of weapons and armour) fighting for the top spot allowing opportunites for lower ranked players to regroup and make a come back.

I think this one ist not as good as the original.. retexturing destroyed the atmosphere.
I don't like the changes in the layout. You take up the RA and the MH and have 3 possibilitys to get out of the room?!

Would be great if someone would create a pk3 with the original but standalone version of dc_map07 - may be worth it, now where it is a ql map.

Yes, thanks for the beta test opportunity, psi. No doubt about it, the original to me (dc_map07 Hidden Fortress), was the best map i had ever played. This one ups it with better item layouts and fantastic connectivity. The added visuals are icing on the cake. No joke kids, download this already.

so glad i found this cuz its really a gem amongst the ruff. gameplay fucking owns just like it did on dreamcast but this lookms a million times better. not sure who you were from DC but respect man!
