This was the beginning of a great map. Love the atmosphere and the basic idea: stone fortress in a molten lava skybox such a shame it didn't go any further. A larger, flatter area underneath with an opening in the centre falling into the lava pit, walkways across the middle where the flanked stair pathways are, better use of the roof as an area, bounce pads instead of stairs (or as an alternative), some satanic map objects and torches all would have enhanced the look and the game play. If I ever got into level design I would definitely use this as a base, but those stairs! They were the real game killer here.

Castle based map in lava is cool but i have one concern..

  1. Make Platforms Real Looking.
It would be great seeing the castle platforms/staircases looking all old and dusty then it would be awesome. Overall a good map.

I liked this map because of the bridge breach. makes it easier to defend my base against attackers.

It kind of reminds me of Gephyrophobia from Halo CE a bit.

Most of the time I played it.The bots would generally use the middle portion of the map very seldomly using the outer passages.Which in turn I could camp on top of my base and just have a field day with a replenishable stock of ammo,health,and my [RG].

I thought the bots ran fine (on hardcore/nightmare..which are the only settings most people play on anyways)
