It's a pretty cool map with Instagib but with normal Q3 it sucks. 6.5/10

Why is it people like to give their maps names that have nothing to do with the map itself?

Update: Oh, duh. There it is on the walls.

KIL: It was a book before it was a movie, and the book was called 1984 by George Orwell.

As to the server question/statement, anyone is more than welcome to set-up a Q3 server running any or all of the maps from ..::LvL. There is no need for me to do it.

to the bots and stuff...:
it would be great if LvL had its own q3 server with the maps presented here :o
for example in monthly changed map cycles -as they are sorted in the LvL archive here..
: ) just an idea

This is one nice map!
The water indeed a bit over the top...
Tequila worked on q4 too, he made ´the lost fleet´! I love that map.
In time he made more q3 maps! All great check his site...
teqtrny4 is on hell of a kick ass tourney map ;)

I also agree with Octovus, you need to get an ok game against bots as there is not a huge interest in online custom maps. Also he wasn't exactly testing the map so much as playing it and his vote is one of many, as you can see botplay is important to some ppl so it seems fair comment. I mostly play against bots as well and will generally not keep a map if the bots are terrible as they are my main opponents on custom maps (duel maps excepted).

ELECTRO: I agree with Otovus. Well if you hang around q3 forums, you'd know that most q3 players rarely play on LAN, sometimes on internet, and most of the times against bots. That's why bot play is important - no matter how bad they suck.

Electro, for someone like myself who likes to play a large number of Q3 custom maps but doesn't exactly have all day, that is next to impossible. Trying to get people to show up, with all the maps properly installed, at a convenient time, and play withour interruption...is impossible. I'm not going to deduct 5 points because bots are crappy, but a point for horribleness is reasonable, unless the author recognises their suckage - in which case I won't download the map. I think my comments are much more useful than not commenting at all, so long as the mappers take it from a "this was with bots" point of view - if they think "Well hell, I don't care what he thinks the map was like with bots"...then they should just ignore the comment, not complain...

anyone that actually comments on how maps play with q3 bots would have to be lacking a large amount of brain cells.

you CANNOT base how good a map plays with the crappy q3 bots. get some humans testers happening or dont bother.

An interesting piece the demonstrates a unique use of layered vertical spacing. Can be fun for some FFA I think.

I like this map... its got a realy good layout for jumping about and having a laugh. On the serious side its realy good for smallmedium FFAs or hunt-n-kill 1on1s.. I like to have as many different styles of maps in my collection as possible... and theres nothing quite like this out there....cool!!! Kr00za

Lol! TBH Octovus my comment was also an "I played this map whenever it was released, let's try to remember it" style comment. I just remembered I was always miles away when the quad spawned and the bots kept beating me to it :p.

<SuX0r> (and at this point papri-K), you're probably right...that was a "I played this map whenever it wass released, let's try to remember it" style comment :-)

Agree with SuX0r about the bots and Octovus about the atmosphere and weaps.

BTW, trick jumpers should give this one definitely a try.

Ahhhhh, I remember this map from the bad old days before I found lvl (actually 2-3 months ago tbh but hey.. :D). Anyway, all of teq's maps that I've played are pretty funky and this one is no exception. There is some scope for fun jumping and I found the level flowed quite well. Good ffa map, haven't tried it as anything else so couldn't really say either way about team games. I'm fairly sure the bots do go in the water as they pick up the quad sometimes. I'll also give it an 8 as it was a bit big for my taste.

This is the best use of brown textures ever. That doesn't mean much, I guess...but it gets a warm and homey feeling that still doesn't feel out of place in the arena. Almost clubby or backalley at the same time. Hey, it's definitely something new.

Gameplay was mostly on par with the looks, but the "long underwater passages for goodies" booboo is here in full flower. It can also be a bit hard to find the weapons you want. Bots are ok though they avoid the water. 8/10
