I REALLY hate Brad 'notime' Kiefer's reviews. He writes these reviews that just spew out hate but doesn't even help with how things could have been done better. He should be prevented from doing any more reviews if its going to be like Ones you find on Cranky Steve's website.

What a poor excuse for a review. No offense, but im sure the mapper put time and effort into this map and he deserved a bit more of a review. A negative review usually at least gives the mapper some idea of what he did wrong, and maybe even helps him improve his skills. But not reviewing the map at all is a shitty thing to do.

Heh. I had to d/l and check it out after that "review", and it's not as bad as you might be led to believe. Yes it has a lot of problems (e.g. way too dark, tight spots and clumsy gameflow, some bad item placement, really basic kinda clunky construction, texture misalignments, and so forth), but I've played worse maps.

It's probably wise to not release first maps for review (or,in my case, the first few), but it is a first map, and it just shows that the author has a lot to learn. shrug Welcome to the human race.

That should be

"It's dark. It's got crates."

short for

"It is dark. It has got crates."

Or even

"It is a dark level. The author has put many crates into it."

Right?

Even then, /me does not call this a review.

I'll probably download it, just to annoy Brad.
