The goal is to create a source port which enhances the Quake 3 experience in new and unique ways. There's no particular structure - an idea floats about and it might end up as a feature in the project.
Forked from the latest Quake3e, here's a brief overview of new features:
Feel free to leave some feedback and feature suggestions.
It would be easier to read the options on the command completion pop-up box if the background was a solid colour. Nothing else stood out.
The killer feature my buddy and I want is server-side demo recording.

the screenshot cube map feature should come in handy for your panaramic shots (or even expand your feature to full cube map). it could use some testing, though
oh, and github issues is the preferred method indeed.
Can I ask for one minor change? LOL!!! If another match begins on the same map, close the demo file and start a new file.
The reasoning for this is my buddy and I are recording our demos for posterity. We track all our matches now - statistics, chat messages, as well as scoring and reviewing all our maps. It'd be the final piece of the puzzle to be able to correlate a specific demo file to a specific match when the map doesn't change. Otherwise, if we play three rounds of a map but the third one was the most interesting / rousing, we'd have to watch the first two just to get to the third.
Regardless if this happens or not, I am hugely grateful to you for having done this!
