Hello! This is VERY basic but I havn't got it to work. I downloaded the "Dreamcast map pack" containg the Dreamcast exclusive maps for Q3. That was the version I played in my youth the most so I wanted em for my PC. The maps came in a file named dc-mappack.pk3 and I put it in the baseq3 folder. They don't show if I try to create a multiplayer game. Any ideas?

There is already an "arenas.txt" file included, but it is part of the simple mod that is included in the download. You need to run the basic mod that is included to have the maps and bots appear in the Skirmish menu. The mod is called "Dreamcast pack (..::LvL edition)" and can be selected from the mod menu.

Run the mod and everything should just work - it does for me :]
