@raspatan thanks for playing my map. The texturing was an experiment and a not so successful one. I also was trying to get some grip on the lighting and creating atmosphere in a map. I am not a great mapper but creating a gameplay concept is one of my stronger points. Texturing and lighting are tough for me and this was a way out for me at the time. The teleporters fit the time although I understand they can be confusing. Same goes for the fog in the walls... Bleh, the map is overly tight, even for me.

Cool design but the colours confused me a lot. The green teleport was not intuitive at all. What was floor or not also wasn't clear from the start. In the end I got it and enjoyed the map but I think a different texturing would have taken much more from it.

I remember seeing this map in a tribute to Quake 3 to Numa Numa :D

Sadly, that video is long gone :(

Fun disco map though

Thanks for the review Boot Guy Joe
and your notes on the concept of 'keeping-away'.
The 'keeping-away' from the item was my intention but i never realized it a concept-thingy :)

Before i built this map I only played FFA but now after playing it a lot of times i like tourney very much... so i kinda introduced myself to the enjoyment of tourney hehe.

thanks for the comment pasquake
