For a city, this map has some unusual architecture. Maybe something you would see would be the road overpass, but not the breaking wooden bridge. I wasn't a big fan of spawning outside the team base and into the fray because it doesn't really give you a chance to be ready.

Grat map. I want that there were more urban maps in Lvl. 8.5 by dont having a sewer section.

Nice changes made to courtyard...more space to move and lots of places to hide...great job on the new map...keep up the great work...

Tjis remake of a CLASS!!!!!MAP!!!! is realy,realy good and I agree that one of the mainstream servers should add this to its rotation as It would be some superb public MAYHEM!!!!!!!

Well actually there is no new room, except like you said, some new roads in the middle of the maps. As for the gameplay yes there is some new elements in it but I think that the gameplay is "almost" as the original Courtyard Conundrum.

There are quite remarkable new rooms and the gameplay changed as well. One of the biggest changes is, that in the midfield you know have 3 levels (instead of just 2 in the original).
Very interesting remake! Great looks and good ideas, but unfortunately no ambient sound at all, so it feels a bit artificial.

The spawn points seem to work great for the bots as they play really well. For humans however, spawning near the middle, in a tight corridor, in front of an enemy is a little bit of a suprise. The map is great, and this (I hope) does not put people off.

Just a quick note on the respawn points: I tried to place them in the same places they were in the original Threewave map, to give a good spread and encourage multiple pathing by the bots. Clearly not to everyone's liking but it seemed to work in the original. My only regret is I didn't put any sounds in.
So I'm going to give myself an 8 for effort. :)
