@Combo: Thanks! All fixed up now.

If you like, you can use the "Report" (on the review page) option and select the "Something else" option. No problem with leaving a comment too - both get my attention :]

Just finished all maps on Hardcore difficulty on first try (always finishing first). :)

I even perfected Xaero on final map, as well as getting 10 impressive medals! I admit I camped on railgun platform to not let him get the railgun. I finished with 84 HP left.
For me the hardest map was Simetrik as it took me a while to get on first place (that was near end) with second place Anarki having 20 or so frags (fraglimit was 25)

I think that was an excellent set of space maps. Good job mappers!

@Anonymous: Inside the download are two folders. Place the contents of the 'baseq3' folder into your baseq3 folder. The second folder is called 'lvl-pq-pack1'. Place this entire folder into your main Quake 3 folder. Start up Q3 and select 'lvl-pq-pack1' from the mods menu.

This is all explained in more detail in the readme file.

Arr, cool set of maps. They kick sand in the face of the DM17 clones and taunt them unmercifully. Great for "just having fun" (altho I remain convinced that a couple of these maps could be interesting for "serious" play as well).

Hows that sound?

Sounds good. I often go to the top maps pages if I haven't visited here for a while. I don't like seeing a pack of maps I already have at number 1 =]. Still, it's good to keep the pack votable.

Thats an interesting point. What I might do is allow voting on Packs but remove them from the 'Top Maps' pages.

Hows that sound?

This is pretty cool, but I don't think it's a good idea to have map-packs available for voting. A pack that alread has alot of good maps is obviously going to get a very high score. This is unfair to people who might get into the top 10 otherwise.

MEet-CEes: I was asked to hold off on a Q3A CTF pack from a number of people. So a space map pack was put together

Cheers Tig, it's appreciated.

BTW These map packs are the business. Some of the maps are as good as if not better than the originals. Add to that the new tiers they generate and you basically have a new game. Great stuff, keep it up.

Cosmik Debris is the best one in here (and better than the one shug mentioned imo). One of the best vertically playing maps out there.

Yeah, I wanted to add that this was a great idea and I hope the fact that PQ is running a server featuring these maps may help the popularity of custom map servers for Q3A. Thanks LVL!!

Can you link me to 'The very end of you', Shug? I don't recall the name.

I'm been running an all space map server over at TerryHell.net for the last month. It has all these maps plus a couple of others (2 I may dump). Most of these maps are extremely good and a lot of fun. some will change your mind about space maps.

I have one problem. One of the maps when you run it on a linux server with bots, will cause a timeout loop. Unfortunately I don't know which map. I have my suspect but don't want to pick unless I'm 100% sure. For now I just don't use minbots on the server for now.

Anyway. Kuddo's to the map makers and LVL for putting a package together. Drop by TerryHell.net for a few frags.

I must agree with Shug here, it could have deserved a better score if it included that particular map.

And if only the file was a little smaller...

Nice idea with the mod, BTW. :)

Decent selection. I am dissapointed that Munyul's "The Very End of You Too" didn't make it into the pak tho as it's a better space map than any of the ones in the pack could ever hope to be gameplay-wise....
