I took some inspiration from this map when I worked on ct3dm5 and I got to say the variation in brush work and texturing is really great. Although in some places the map looks kinda overbright it's still 9/10 for me because of the great texture usage and the gameplay.

The tight layout puts the RL at an overwhelming advantage.

The console errors are also something to be aware of.

Map really motivates me to build a "retro" map using this texture set, though on closer inspection (the details), it is pretty clear it would be very difficult to come up with anything original. Awesome map, a must download for sure.

A hugely enjoyable level that has taken pride of place on my hard drive. I've never had the need to set pmove_fixed to 1 to make the teleport jumps or the jump out of the SG pit via the light, to the ledge above and then on and up to the RL. I think so long as you have maxfps and comhunkmegs set right for your system that you should be good to go on that front.

Conclusion: get this map now. Get CPM and try it both CPM and VQ3 mode, it's great fun :)
