Stalin was once the leader of the Soviet Union from Georgia, and after he died he created two maps in Hell which mimicked original Quake 3 Maps.

He could at least be somewhat original.

When will people learn to stop doing things like this?

A little too much resemblence to Q3dm17, Which isnt nessecarilly bad, just lacking that creativity and ingenuity that really makes a map good. Dont get me wrong, I enjoyed it a lot! WTG Joseph!

Call it DM8.5 (1/2 of DM17), this map doesn't add anything good to the concept of DM17. It's an interesting retake, but the swallowing esophagus tubes just didn't fit in here, and they weren't well placed either, as I could often see the ends of them when they bulged out beyond the walls they were supposed to be connected/confined to. And what's going on with the tubes in the green-lighted area? That just doesn't look right.

And one last thing- this map would probably look 5 times better if it wasn't at 100% brightness. Fullbright is one of the biggest turnoffs in my opinion.

I would be ASHAMED if I BLATENTLY ripped-off the layout of a map that CLEARLY defined the style.

I'd be EVEN MORE ASHAMED if I did a POOR JOB of ripping it off.
