@SW12: Sorry about that bro it's just I saw a few more members do the same thing so I thought it would be ok to do that. And may I ask you who said that to you or are you just trying to cause more trouble..?!

Just played this map and it's brilliant. I'd like to say that a one thing really bugged me and that was the item placement. I see armor shards all over the place and weapon ammo scattered across the whole map. there sohuld be ammo near each weapon and I don't mean right next to the weapon but a few yards away like in a hallway. I loved the Skybox it really does make the map really nice especially when it's set on a floater with sandy like textures. 8/10.
Edit: I think this map should have an update to CTF Mode due to the fact the layout is very similar to a Space/Floater CTF.

Who says the original is always better than the sequel? Basically similar map layout to the original but tweaked to improve visuals and gameplay. In the sequel the rg and mh are swapped to prevent sniping with the rail gun up top, the trap buttons are easier to trigger and the rl platform has been given a makeover exposing the rl from above and making the landing locations for 2 of the cannons harder to control. the ya has been moved away from the rg/rl combo and hidden to prevent sniping at there pick-up and situated in a way where it is harder to control them both. a personal teleporter has been included and the map has been outfitted with a range of custom textures, including the bounce and accelerator pads, that suit the atmosphere. In the musical version (available from quint's site) more appropriate use of music could have been used - like native american shaman chanting or something of the like.

I had a rockin good time playing it w/ the bots, so I mailed a link to my mates, just imagine how much fun it'll be with real human combatants! lol

Hi mate Commander, thanks! I have my opinion about your question... there are a lot of poeple thinking that serious mappers don't make space maps... really don't know why, but I respect this thought becouse it's a manner of taste. I think that who like space maps like non space too, but the viceversa is not always true. Anyway, I'll go on making space shit becouse for me is the best for experimenting phisyc gameplay... and I love the railgun!
Peace and love.

Another nice floater, I don't know why more great mappers like Quint don't make space maps and floaters. Great work Quint!!!

As I was born with a railgun at hand and I got a thingy for floaters...
So quint ups my alley :)
Masterly map!
Better guns, better traps, better off!
This sequel does what most sequels don't.
It makes clear why the first map is released but at the same time it improves on all aspects of the first map.

In general, i tend to dislike floaters in terms of gameplay, but i always make it a point to check out quint's maps - his stuff is always unique and interesting, and this map is no exception. Alot of neat little tricks and traps making this map incredibly fun to play. My only gripe is that i dont really like the textures he used for the buttons, but hey, thats a minor detail. Great work as usual!

Phew! It seems that I passed the examination! Is always hard to make a sequel, and I wasn't sure to have built a worthy sequel of gon... but your comments confirm that I did well releasing it. If you are having fun then I acheived my task... and if you think there is something original in my maps, I acheived my second task :)
Thanks guys and thanks for the review!

OMG!
This map ROCKS!
The traps are perfect this time round, and complement the gameplay rather than interrupt it.
This is a map you can get seriously EVIL on!
Looks awesome too, a real StarWars feel, easily one of the sexiest floaters out there!

ahhh...another space masterpiece. considering the original Guns of Navarone was, and still is, my favorite floater, i was chomping at the bit for this one to be released. ambience abounds with the rustic look that really gives this map style. there is a little background of why this map looks like it does in the readme.txt, so make sure you pay your respect and read it. weapon placement is really good except there's no machine gun ammo?! traps are excellent ala GON and now the map features custom sounds to boot!! a great 4-6 FFA map and an even better tourney map (minus the Quad). stop by his site and download ASAP.

Very nice! Maybe the gameplay isn't great but this map looks like a masterpiece of design and artwork.
