I used to play quake when I was younger, about 10 or 15 years ago. I'm trying to grab all the maps I used to play, specifically this one map I can't find. It was a mansion that had lots of lava filled secret paths, and in the middle was a large green ball that if you jumped into it it teleported you to a green abyss space with platforms that had guns. The end of these platforms had portals that took you back to the mansion. Any help or tips on how to find it would be awesome, it was one of my favourites.

The only thing I can think of is browsing for the map by screenshot - lvlworld.com/screenshots/29 - that link will jump you to the start of 2007 and the end of 2006.

Could you give us other details about the map? Could you go outdoors, what color the skybox was, and the kind of textures the map used?
