This map sports a solid layout and good usage of textures from the Socktex pack (from ospdm2). It's intended to be a medium sized map for tourney matches and it suits the purpose well. The level is well balanced both horizontally and vertically, with each room or section being identifiable. Different usages of jump pads, staircases and occasional eye candy keep things interesting. A neon border that runs across the level seems a bit out of place, however. Item placement is fair and there's a good railgun spot at the top of the level. Unfortunately there are two ways to get there and one of them is far too easy. Takes some of the fun out of it.
The bots will hang around the very bottom level unless you really pump up the difficulty. I could get only one of the bots to the top level for a few seconds on nightmare. Needless to say - the higher you are, the safer you are. Human opponents are definitely recommended, as they will also be the only ones to make attempts at the armor in the doorway, megahealth, etc.
Generally speaking, this map is well executed. I must gripe about a missing texture under the plasma gun, but there's always room for improvement. This one is definitely worth a look, and in many cases a keeper.
