Map Description : A highly unique styled level, neither gothic or base. Blocky walls with brown panels highlighted by bright yellow lights, finished with a blue trim and dark blue sky. A circle of four large areas where there is constant carnage.
Other Info :
I wanted to use a bunch of metal/slime Quake textures, but they were such low quality in Quake3 that I decided I would remake them. After remaking the yellow light, I started doing them all from my own ideas instead. They ended up a being a bit like a gothic version of Ikbase. The architecture is quite different to other levels. There are no curves (like all my Quake3 levels) but blocky, solid supports and buttresses. I was trying to go for a level similar to alkdm08, with a bunch of large open areas and very few tight corridors. This way there is action almost everywhere you go. Unfortunately the bots don't like going upstairs, so it can be quite horizontal gameplay with them.
Textures can be used in your own levels, and are available on my site.
