Info

I built this map (my first map) somewhere back in 2002, mainly to get used to the
Radiant editor and see how to use it to build a small DM map with good gameflow.

It's a simple "box"-style arena, and yes, I know the design isn't THAT great...but I think
the gameplay IS. It's 2014 now, and me and some of my friends are still playing it
(amongst other maps...) on my own private dedicated Q3A server. I think that's at
least a proof of quality! :-)

And because I'm getting old (hitting 50), I tend to forget things, and that's the reason
why it took almost 12 years for me to submit it to lvlworld.

And for those wondering about the map name: Eigelstein is a downtown quarter in
Cologne, Germany, where I lived before I moved to Pluto.

There are no hidden rooms or secrets within the arena, and once you grab one of
RLs, I think you'll know how to get the BFG. Bots play well, although they don't go
for the powerups, unless you have them and get fragged, so they can pick them
up easily.

Note: there's a warning about a missing "eigelstein.wav" music file, which I removed
from the pk3 file to decrease the download size. It doesn't affect the gameplay, though,
and you can add a "music" folder to your baseq3 folder and copy a WAV soundfile
named "eigelstein.wav" into it, if you just cannot frag without your favorite tune.

Have fun!
