It's a single player experiment with lots of traps and difficult jumps, stress, so be aware ! =================================================================================== production notes =================================================================================== First, I wanted to make a 3d adaptation of the game called "Difficulty:Maximal" developped my Gideon "QOG" Simons (http://quiteoddgames.blogspot.com/) for a game making contest. So I analyzed the type of traps and trials and tried to make an equivalent obstacle course, enjoyable for skilled and less skilled persons. I was also motivated a single player level, seeing that it was possible to make enjoyable experiments with Simonoc's map "Edge of Forever" (http://www.simonoc.c...ps_q3/moteof.htm)) The graphic style take the coulour scheme of the original game and adds all the details that the quake 3 engine can give to try create a pseudo realistic universe. I used a lot of wood textures because I find that it's a material rather less represented in fantasy environnements and I like making original visual choices. I first wanted to spend a week on this map, but now it's about 6 weeks I've started it. I'm really pleased by the result, but not by my performance at work (laughs). =================================================================================== Textures =================================================================================== All the textures of the black and White universe were made by me, from some stock photos I accumulate on my computer since a couple of years. Some were made from material found on www.cgtextures.com.
