* Installation *

Unzip q3mkctf1.zip into the baseq3 directory of quake3.

This will install a pak file called mctfpak0.pk3 into your baseq3 folder.
This MapLAB ctf pak contains q3mkctf1.bsp (the map).

* About *
=============================================================================

The map is intended for 5 versus 5 wars.
There are three routes to each base: Main-route, Pipe-route and Railroom-route.
Our priorities where gameplay and mapspeed rather then detailed look.
We developed the map with high graphics details enabled (smooth curves etc) and then tried to keep the mapspeed as high as possible. After ours of playtesting and making lots of map changes we think we reached our goals.

Start Q3
Type in the console these things :

/sv_pure 0
/g_gametype 4

Then join a team and explore the map.

Player Start points
-------------------
When a player joins a server, switch teams or when a match starts then Blue
players spawn in the blue base, Red players in red base.

Player Respawn points
---------------------
Players respawn after they die on and around the midfield not in bases.

Locations / Messaging
---------------------
Location-messages appear in the team-colour (red or blue) when you are on a
particular side of the map (blue or red side). When you are on a neutral area
of the map (midfield) location-messages are printed in white.
For instance: When you are in the red-base the message will be "BASE" printed
in red. If you are in the blue base then the message "BASE" is printed in blue.

Shotgun : yes (1 in each base, 1 on midfield)
Plasmagun : yes (base)
Grenade launcher : yes (1 near each base, 1 on midfield)

Railgun : yes (in each base/railroom)
BFG : no

Quad-damage : yes, on midfield *
Haste : yes, on midfield, switches randomly with Regeneration. *
Regeneration : yes, on midfield, switches randomly with Haste. *
Megahealth : yes, 1 in each base. *

Red Armor : yes, 1 on mid in water.
Yellow Armor : yes, 1 in each base.

Medkit : no
Personal Teleporter : no

* Quad:
randomly respawns after 1, 2 or 3 minutes on the midfield.

* Powerups:
Regeneration OR Haste respawns after 1, 2 or 3 minutes on the midfield.

* Megahealth
respawns in 1, 2 or 3 minutes after pickup.
