Tribal
ROODOG

release date: 2nd of Jan 2006. Quake3Arena FFA-DM level. ==================================================== title: Tribal file: tribal.pk3 author: ROODOG email address: **email removed** URL: **invalid URL** description: Large ffa Dm map. play information deathmatch: Large/ DM about 12 Tourney: Not really as 2 big but you can try lol team deathmatch: no CTF: no Bot File (aas): yes other: no new sounds: yes custom textures: yes new music: no how to play: place tribal.pk3 in your /baseq3/ folder start quake3arena and pick from maps or hit ~ type \map tribal once the map loads use q3 menu to add bots just hit esc and your q3 menu will show up. ==================================================== info:Tribal will have you fraggin in an ancient arena surrounded by mountains with a distant volcano on the horizon. You will encounter a few lava pools but nothing that should slow down your fragging unless you have a bad jump. The valley is very fertile with pines which support the varied bird life. The walls of the arena are cracked through time but all jump pads and portals built by the ancients are still in working order. The ancients appear to have practiced Baptism of Fire as i came across a pit of fire that was operated with some sort of switch with engravings of human skulls and it appears that slaves were subjected to the ungodly death of being thrown into boiling lava while still alive...the screaming from the pit still haunts me to this day.I fear the tormented souls have somehow invaded my very essence as my days are now filled with thoughts of murder and I must confess i have preyed upon many a wayward traveller in this unspeakable place.Madness consumes my wakening thoughts and i realise now that i must baptise myself in fire to free myself from this tormented land.Years from now if you stumble upon this journal take heed and run from this evil land before you too ae consumed by the fires of hell. ==================================================== construction base: none editor: Gtk Radiant 1.40 other progs: Quake3 toolkit know bugs: None build time:About 1 month . ==================================================== Thanks to the Mighty Pete for the skybox textures that i in turn put together with a script complete with rolling clouds.**invalid URL** I also made a script to animate the trees for that windy effect GrimReaper for 2 of the trees Ewooz made the gragel in the bfp cage, thanks m8 qkenny for the cross, horned, cigs, beer&Guitar models. great work thanks.
