Description

"Heavy Metal Machine" (l3dm3) is small level for
intensive duels. It is designed with CPMA mod in mind,
but you can play it in vanilla Quake 3 without any
problems.
I made about 9 different versions of this map for tests
(there were 4 betas released), first official beta is
dated to 23rd August 2003. After all those months, hours
of compiling, polishing gameplay and removing bugs I hope
you'll enjoy this level as much as I enjoy releasing
last version and releasing myself from it ;)
Map uses only about 1300 brushes, but lack of details
is compensated by such effects as bump-mapping and
dynamic lights (only in lightmap mode). I achieved this
by using ydnar's compiler q3map2 (www.shaderlab.com).
Most of used textures is also ydnar's work.

Installation

Unzip the contents of l3dm3.zip to your Quake3\baseq3
folder. In game type ~ and then /map l3dm3 (enter).
