The theme for this diminutive Tourney is a tree-filled space with a few open structures nestled in a lilliputian island valley. That is all well and good, but the map's author included the tree texture in the wrong directory in the zipfile. The result is a grotesque mapping phantasmagoria (to speak a tad hyperbolically) of holodeck-textured tree shapes. Luckily, it is quite easy to fix for anyone with any knowledge of winzip and PK3s. Once that is done the level doesn't look half bad. However, gameplay falls flat on its own. RL, PG, LG, SG, all your favorite close combat weapons are in this tiny space, with a YA and a RA to boot. However, each weapon is nestled happily with a pair of accordant ammo packs, so gameplay quickly degenerates into a mix of find your weapon as fast as you can, peek-a-boo, and respawn frags. There is no map control here, just reflex speed. Bots play just fine, because all that is expected of them is that they walk to a weapon spawn location and start shooting. FPS are fine.

Even after you get the tree textures working and spend a whole fifteen seconds admiring the atmosphere there is little here to bring you back. It is probably best to avoid downloading this map. If, however, you are a fan of tiny frantic tourneys without any real strategy (and that's not a crime), this might be your cup of tea.
