It appears Blurr wanted to bring some Far Cry feeling to Quake 3 with this map. The island design is nice but requires some vis improvement, from anywhere on the map all the polygons are drawn, and in some areas, r_speeds are up to 40k.

Sounds are pleasant and the overall feeling is like some paradise island. The item placement is good, even if it is hard for bots to get the RA or MH, which are located underwater around the island. Bots play well but often drown. The small boat which rotates around the island is a funny idea.

I recommend this map to anyone who is looking for an original map which breaks away from the common themes of most maps.
