very interesting release after a long time! mcuj-mry and q3ishdm5b2 impressed me with their cool connectivity, modern look, and high ceilings (low ones are the disaster of q3).
I liked mcuj-mry most because of its simplicity and size, especially the around RG area. but having LG, 50 hp and 2x25 hp near the RA is bad for sure. I would make some changes but this map is really cool already. even in spite of the fiercely overlit areas :D

these are the urban maps I didn't realise I needed in my life. My one minor criticism is a couple of maps are a little too open and felt needed some cover but I'll forgive this a little as it felt like one of those compromises a mapper sometimes needs to make for the sake of the realism of the environment and designing for small player loads (however rapid respawning is always frustrating). I like Icarus, its scale and the deft use of the flight power-up to overcome the inherent obstacles of covering height in urban/city maps. I wished the clipped areas for it were open; they are all tempting. On that note: each and every author presented aesthetically a world that I would love to see expanded on in more levels and I believe tig may have taken inspiration from Zihaben's Berlin Roofs with the hazy atmosphere. Overall, they all have the staying power to take up permanent residence in the baseq3 folder and breathed new life back into the game.

Thank you all involved.
These are wonderfully designed, unique, urban maps.
It would be nice if a server(s) hosted these.
Quit reading this. Download and play.

Great releases! All of them beautifully designed.

Stacked is my favorite, mostly because of its open spaces, felt easier to navigate, great lighting and item placement.
Icarus feels like some kind of futuristic urban environment, like on some sci-fi movies.
DmOutrage looks very good, sylish.
Catchment looked like the most realistic one.

I enjoyed playing all of them. Icarus, DmOutrage and Catchment felt more tight, and loved the vertical playing in Icarus, grenades and rockets falling from everywhere.

You all guys did great , thank you very much.
