I was looking up mods for Quake 3, and someone told me that there was a zombie mod for Quake 3. www.heyzap.com/game/quake-3-engine
Unfortunately, it is exclusive for an Android Smartphone, which is something I don't have, nor can afford. I think it is a shame because I really would love to try this out.

Fast-moving players versus slow-moving weak zombies in any map you want. That would make for a relaxing co-op when you're bored.

I'm not sure that is the Q3A engine at work. Some of the textures and the map is Q3A for sure, but there is no lightmap and a heap of custom models too. I would say there are some serious copyright issues with that mod.

The developers are also not going through the Google Play store, which can be a little dodgy too (dodgy as in the best way to get your phone or device hacked) AND they don't send you to a download link, but get your phone number as well.

Anyway, the mod sounds like it could be fun for sure but in its current state, don't risk it.
