Map description : Quake 3 Arena Tourney/deathmatch level
This is the first map I knew was worthy of a public release. The
map started out as nothing more than an exercise in creating ceilings,
but, as time went on, I took a liking to what I had created and
decided to finish the map in a industrialized modern style.
I've been "mapping" for nearly 3 months, and while I have
created many "maps", this is by far the best one. The previous
ones shall remain in unknown obscurity on my HD. The 2 greatest
influences on my mapping are "Coriolis Storm" (lun3dm1) and
"Nothing at All"(lae3dm1) which are the most fantastic user-made
maps I have seen so far.
Be prepared for greater things in the near future. The floodgates have opened.
Thanks to : id software.
Special Thanks : asdf.LPB and pia.infinite for beta testing.
** Installation **
Be sure you have the latest point release installed. Unzip the contents
of diadm1.zip to your Quake3\baseq3 folder. Start Quake 3 and choose
single player/skirmish, or multiplayer/create from the main menu. You should
be able to select diadm1 from the screenshots toward the end of the list. If
you cannot, hit the ~ key to open the console and type:
