Description : This is my first Q3 map, and my first experience with QR3. I decided to call
my map "Sacrifice" for a few reasons: 1. The obvious design of the center of
the map. 2. I wanted the map to have a name other than having a boring file
name sound to it. 3. Because I'm still new to the Q3 mapping scene, I had to
sacrifice alot of my ideas because I simply didn't know how to execute them.
4. Because there are areas of the map where you can virtually see it from end
to end, I had to comprimise the amout of detail that was originally planned.
And because nearly everything can see or connect with each other in some way,
this meant cutting down on practically everything. I'm sure this is the reason
for my 25 hr compile, even though I can't see much difference from the fast vis.
In the end though, I enjoy playing on this map for it's flow and "go anywhere"
feel.

- Play Information -

Players : All levels are 2-6 players.
Bots : YES.
Weapons : SG, PM, GL, RL, LN, RG.
Armor : Red and yellow with a few shards.
Ammo : Enough for all weapons except the GL.
Health : Lots.

Put the sacrifice.pk3 file into your baseq3 directory, and type "\map sacrifice" in console.

- Construction -

Base : Stole some architecture from Q3dm1, the rest is from scratch
Editor(s) used : Q3Radiant
Additional Tools : QBSPC
Known Bugs : Bot's never go in the jump pad area with tunnel.
Working time : One 1/2 weeks

Textures used : Golthic, and Base Texture sets.

Compile machine : WIN 95, P2/333 @ 375, 256 MEGS, Creative Blaster TNT
fullvis (-light -extra) : 25 hours
