My first Q3A map. The idea was to make a perfect space map that would reach the glory of maps like "The Longest Yard" by ID, "Flying Plutonians" and "Distonic" by Nunuk, "Majesty" by Ned ... Maybe that is to big goal for a first map, but you will judge weather I did it or not : )
Map is a little too difficult for moving thorough, there is way too much falling of the edge.(that is why we have two teleporters) ...but after a while, when you learn the map, there is not that much falling of so playing it becomes fun. I included few shooters just to speed up the action, and because of them mashinegun gets to be more useful weapon. ...by the way, I always wanted a map where BFG isn't too dominant weapon... and I belive this is it!
...hint: One can shoot through the grate : )
Bot's are not playing this level too good. They fall of a lot and never go for floating items (ammo) and BFG... they don't shoot through the grate and I am not sure if they shoot the shooters by mistake or on purpose?
